10 months is the time to learn fluent German?
I moved to Germany for 10 months and need to know if 10 months is long enough to learn German fluently? I am 15 and go to the gym as an exchange student abroad.
Of course, it depends on your teacher is, the ease I have been with knowledge, learning style, etc. I do not think you can learn any language fluently in a short time only ten months. If you yourself amercing in culture and the promise to himself only speak German (and just say – if you want the water in a restaurant, imagine how the words in German. Take a dictionary with you if necessary.), it is quite possible that, at least be able to hold a conversation. However, keep in mind the little time he must not be too hard on yourself if a mistake or have some difficulties.
I must admit, however, if you want to learn a language quickly and effectively, certainly say we're doing is the right way. Good luck to you and enjoy Germany!
